  • SynChem, Inc has been issued a patent for Thiol-Ene Click Chemistry for drug conjugates by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Y2015
    SynChem, Inc holds a patent (US 9,056,141 B2) that relates to linker molecules that readily conjugate a cellular recognition ligand at one end and a drug payload at the other, and are useful in treating or preventing cancer, an autoimmune disease, an inflammatory condition, a central nervous system disorder or an infection. The patent provides linker molecules that would readily allow conjugation of cellular recognition ligands through Linker-Drug compounds and Ligand-Linker-Drug conjugates.
  • A research paper was published at Journal of Controlled Release by the joint efforts of SynChem scientists with our partner, titled as “Stabilization of Cysteine-linked Antibody Drug Conjugates with N-Aryl Maleimides” in Y2015

2013

  • In 2013, SynChem, Inc. licensed its new ADC linker technology patent to a European drug discovery company, Algeta ASA.

  • SynChem, Inc. wins Lilly’s 2002 Supplier Award. SynChem, Inc. was selected as one of Eli Lilly and Company's 2002 Supplier Award winners! (see detail from Lilly's website) There are 18 award winners for this year's suppliers throughout Lilly, including four in its research division.

  • SynChem was awarded two SBIR grants from NIH, the first project was titled “Catalytic Asymmetric Synthesis of Beta-Amino Acids with Grant No. 1R43 GM58030-01, and the second project was titled “Catalytic Synthesis of Unnatural Amino Acids by Chiral Lewis Acids” with Grant No. 1R43 GM57114-01.
